Katherine Kos, PharmD

Katherine Kos, PharmD has a diverse work experience in the pharmacy field. Katherine is currently working at Remedi SeniorCare Pharmacy as a Clinical Consultant Pharmacist. Prior to this, they worked at Omnicare as a Clinical Consultant Pharmacist for a period of 9 years. In this role, they provided consultations to nursing homes in the Chicagoland area, conducting medication regimen reviews and admission reviews for over 1000 nursing home patients monthly. Katherine also gained experience in counseling patients during medication therapy management sessions, leading nursing inservices, and collaborating with medical directors and nursing directors to ensure compliance with nursing home regulations. Earlier in their career, Katherine worked as a Pharmacy Intern at Advocate Home Health. During this time, they gained experience in the home health sector and worked as a technician in the IV room, preparing infusions and TPN's. Katherine also assisted specialty infusion and nutrition pharmacists with patient cases and research.

Katherine Kos pursued their education in Pharmacy, earning a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Butler University. Katherine completed their degree between 2005 and 2011, demonstrating a commitment to acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills in the field of Pharmacy during this six-year period.
