Barrett Fallentine has more than 20 years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. Barrett began their career in 1996 as a Unit Services Coordinator at UCLA Medical Center. In 1997, they took on a Research Assistant role at UCLA. In 1998, they worked as an Associate Process Development Scientist at Bayer and a Clinical Support Associate at Sutter Medical Center. In 2000, they were a Process Development Associate II-III at Corixa / Coulter Pharmaceuticals (acquired by GSK). From 2002 to 2006, they worked as a Senior Fermentation Specialist at Medarex. From 2006 to 2015, they were a Senior Engineer, Cell Culture Process Development at Five Prime Therapeutics. From 2015 to 2021, they were an Associate Director, Process Engineering and Operations at Coherus BioSciences, where they were the BDS Lead for a late-stage pre-commercial biosimilar program. Barrett currently serves as a Director of CMC (Consultant) at Valitor and Director of Product and Process Development at Pharmatech Associates, a USP company.

Barrett Fallentine received their Bachelor of Sciences in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1997. In 2008, they obtained a Certificate in Fermentation Technology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
