Linda DeFord has a diverse work experience in the pharmacy field. Linda started their career in 1983 at Woodhaven Pharmacy, where they learned the duties of a pharmacy technician and gained a strong understanding of the long-term care pharmacy market. In 1994, they joined Neighborcare Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician Supervisor, overseeing the work of the pharmacy technicians. In 2005, Linda moved to Omnicare and worked as a Certified Pharmacy Technician Manager. In this role, they were involved in project management, training staff on new protocols, and supervising shift work in a 24-hour pharmacy. Since 2015, Linda has been working at Remedi SeniorCare Pharmacy as a Customer Care Team Supervisor, focusing on improving and caring for others as part of the customer care team.
Linda DeFord completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Fine and Studio Arts from Towson University, graduating in 1986. Prior to that, they attended Parkville Sr. High School from 1978 to 1982.
In terms of additional certifications, Linda obtained their Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPht) certification from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) in July 2002. Later, in September 2008, they became an MD Registered Pharmacy Technician through the State of Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene.
