John McGovern

John McGovern is a highly accomplished technology and business professional with a strong background in software development and engineering. Currently serving as President and Co-Founder of Consular Capital since January 2020, John is also a Co-Founder of Scavenger Tech and has held advisory and leadership roles at Remedy Technology. Prior to these positions, John worked at Vertigo Music | App as Chief Technology Officer and held several roles including Lead System Architect and Software Engineer. John’s earlier career includes a Web Developer position at Infegy, where contributions were made to web frameworks for social media analytics, and Co-Founder of Sernomics LLC, focusing on social media data analytics for the financial industry. Additionally, John gained experience as a Field Engineer at Kiewit, working on electrical systems for power plants. John holds a B.S. in Architectural Engineering from The University of Kansas.
