Taka Koda

Taka has over 15 years of business development and venture investment experience. Prior to joining Remiges Ventures, Taka run TK Venture Partners, Inc., which served as a consultant in charge of finance and investments for biotech and business groups including Remiges Ventures. For Remiges Ventures’ first fund, he has been on the board and Interim President of Digestome Therapeutics, Inc. and other newco projects in the portfolio. Prior to joining the team, he spent 12 years with Mitsui’s Private Equity group for venture investments and fund operations. During his tenure at Mitsui, he held several positions as a board member, in acting management roles in newly created companies, and in raising capital at globally diversified portfolio companies. Taka holds a BS in Engineering from the University of Tokyo.
