Amber Thomas has worked in various roles since 2013. Amber began their career at Jimmy John's as an In-Shop Associate, where they demonstrated strong communication skills to cheerfully greet customers, take orders, and answer phone calls. Amber also cooperated with a team on an assembly line to ensure speed of service, and operated a POS system to handle transactions, apply banks and drops to delivery drivers, and apply tips to delivery drivers.
In 2015, Amber worked as a Social Media Intern at K. Nemai Hair Studio, where they managed and posted weekly to social media accounts and created promotional images for upcoming salon events and sales. Amber also worked as a Marketing Intern at Temple Small Business Development Center.
Amber then worked at Wawa, Inc. as a Customer Service Associate from 2014-2016. During this time, they provided excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, prepared food while in accordance with safety regulations, and demonstrated teamwork to provide an efficient service.
In 2016, Amber worked as a Social Media Manager at Small Talk Media. From 2017-2018, they worked as a Patient Services at Abington - Jefferson Health.
In 2018, Amber joined ReminderMedia as a Talent Development Specialist. In this role, they presented communication skills by hosting live training sessions for new hires and on-going employee training. Amber was also responsible for training on all new product releases, conducting the first two weeks of training for all New Hires in the Client Success Department, conducting all basic knowledge and systems training sessions for new hires in Direct Sales, Postcard Sales, and the Presentation Team, recording training videos and demonstrations, and more.
In addition, Amber was Team Lead of the Postcard Team and Sales and Marketing Administrator - Postcard Team at ReminderMedia. As Team Lead, they managed the postcard sales team to ensure they were on pace to hit daily and monthly goals, and worked one on one with their team members to improve their strategies. As Sales and Marketing Administrator, they applied design concepts and marketing knowledge to create all postcard designs for the entire department, was responsible for placing all postcard orders and seeing them through to completion, and consulted customers regarding their postcard designs and strategies for building targeted farm lists.
Finally, Amber was a Marketing Advisor - Client Success & Postcard Team at ReminderMedia from April 2018-May 2019. In this role, they performed call center style communications while providing exceptional service and strategies to all clients, provided additional value to clients through coaching of marketing advice and/or upselling of additional products to help with the gaps in their marketing plans, and de-escalated calls through recognizing clients’ problems, reframing the conversations, and resolving their problems.
Amber Thomas attended George Washington High School from 2008 to 2012, where they obtained their high school degree. Amber then attended Temple University from 2012 to 2016, majoring in Advertising with a focus on Account Management.
