Mike Occhipinti

Mike Occhipinti has worked in the technology industry since 1996. Mike began their career as an Application Developer (VFP) at Automated Travel Solutions. In 1999, they worked as a Network Administrator at Telecom Management Consultant Group, where they set up office networks, built PCs, installed software, and maintained backups. In 2011, they joined dotrealestateinc as an ETL Manager and Lead Developer, where they managed the ETL process for several RETS servers and did front end web development. In 2014, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Remine. In 2015, they worked as a PHP Developer at Partners HealthCare. In 2016, they joined Placester, Inc. as a Software Engineer.

Mike Occhipinti completed a N.Y. State Regents Diploma at Adirondack High School in 1980, where they were a winner of the Bausch and Lomb Award in Science. Mike then attended Clarkson University in 1981, but did not receive a degree. In 1985, they began studies at Stony Brook University, receiving a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Physics in 1988. Mike also attended University at Buffalo in 1985, but did not complete the program. In 2013, Mike Occhipinti obtained a MongoDB Certified DBA Associate Level certification from MongoDB.
