Richard Garcia has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Richard is currently the Senior Vice President of Restaurants, Bars & Events at Remington Hospitality since July 2021. Prior to that, from March 2016 to July 2021, they served as the Vice President of Culinary & Beverage Operations at Crescent Hotels & Resorts. From March 2014 to April 2016, Richard worked as the National Culinary Director (USA Sports & Leisure) at Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events. Before joining Sodexo, they were an Executive Chef at Marriott Hotels from November 2009 to April 2014. Richard also has experience as a Corporate Executive Chef at Havana Blue St. Thomas USVI from January 2007 to November 2008. Before transitioning into the hospitality industry, Richard served in the U.S. Coast Guard and the United States Marine Forces Reserve, where they held various tactical and food service roles.

Richard Garcia attended the United States Marine Corps Food Service Academy from 1998 to 1999, where they earned a Certificate in Food Service.
