Taraka Satti

Taraka Satti currently serves as the VP of Engineering at Remitly since August 2023. Prior to this role, Taraka was the Director and Head of Business Engineering for Meta FinTech at Meta from March 2021 to August 2023, leading engineering teams globally to enhance payment experiences across the Meta Family of Apps. Taraka's extensive career at PayPal spanned over 15 years, where responsibilities ranged from Head of Engineering for Alternative Payments to various positions focusing on mobile applications, payment checkout flows, and technical leadership. Taraka began the professional journey at Verisign and esecurity as a software engineer. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Kakatiya University, complemented by a brief education stint at Yale University.
