Rica J.

Rica J. has had a diverse work experience over the years. Rica started in 2007 as the COO of Remote Staff, an Australian-based company that connects businesses with remote staff in the Philippines. Rica eventually became the CEO of the company in 2023. In 2014, Rica founded Remit to the Philippines, a money transfer service for Filipino immigrants in Australia. Rica also founded PayStaff in 2018, a specialized money transfer service for Australian SMEs. Additionally, Rica founded Working Remote, a not-for-profit group for freelancers and virtual staff, and Kuwento.Com, a storytelling app for Filipino children. In 2015, they developed the DayCareApp, a web and iOS app for Child Care Centers.

From 2001 to 2005, Rica J. attended the University of the Philippines where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Science.
