Tarcila Shinno

Tarcila Shinno is the CEO and Founder of RemoteLAB & Academy, a boutique consulting firm focused on helping organizations navigate the digital landscape and adopt more human-centric approaches. Tarcila also founded Remote Academy, an online learning platform aimed at enhancing the virtual mindset of Spanish-speaking professionals. Prior to their current role, Tarcila worked at Banco de Crédito BCP as Deputy Manager Cultural Transformation, where they played a key role in implementing a new performance management model for the organization. Tarcila also served as the Communications Manager at Atlas Copco and held managerial positions in Marketing, Communications, and Corporate Projects at Grupo Planeta. Tarcila has experience as a freelance travel journalist, contributing articles to various publications. Additionally, they have taught courses on digital marketing, social media, and marketing plans at universities and institutes in Peru.

Tarcila Shinno has a diverse education history. Tarcila obtained a Bachelor's degree in Journalism from the Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas in 2006, followed by a Licenciate degree in Communications & Journalism from the same university in 2011. In 2015, they pursued a Digital Marketing Master's degree at Fundesem Business School. Tarcila further enhanced their knowledge in marketing by completing a course on Principles of Digital Marketing and Management at Lund University in 2017-2018. In 2020, Tarcila attended IE Business School, where they studied Digital Talent Management. Tarcila also delved into exponential thinking through a program at SingularityU Nordic. In 2022, they participated in the Young Entrepreneur Program at Innovation Experience Israel. Additionally, Tarcila has obtained various certifications in areas such as design and facilitation of learning spaces, radical candor, impactful presentations, psychological safety coaching, and agile HR.
