Hull McKinnon has extensive work experience, having held various roles in a variety of companies. In 2021, they became the COO of RemoteLock, a company that provides access control platform solutions. From 2019 to 2021, they were the CFO/COO of GutCheck, a market research technology company. From 2018 to 2019, they were the CFO of AVL Growth Partners, a full-stack financial services firm. From 2017 to 2018, they were the Partner/CFO/Acting COO of Crestone Capital, LLC, an ultra-high net worth multi-family office. From 2003 to 2021, they served as a Member Board of Directors on nine companies, including Tantalus Systems, Lilliputian, and Renaissance Lighting. From 2001 to 2012, they were the General Partner of Altira Group, a venture capital/PE firm. Lastly, from 2012 to 2021, they were the CEO of Southwest Windpower, a world-leading manufacturer and supplier of small wind turbines and renewable hybrid systems. Prior to this, they were a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers (and Coopers & Lybrand) from 1995 to 2001.
Hull McKinnon received a BBA in Accounting and Economics from William & Mary in 1995. Hull is also a Certified Public Accountant from the AICPA. Most recently, they have been an adjunct finance professor at the University of Denver - Daniels College of Business from 2019 to 2021.
