Shannon Popovich

Shannon Popovich, JD, CMCP has a diverse work experience in the communications field. From 1999 to 2008, they worked at American Medical Response, starting as a field emergency medical technician and then moving into dispatch and eventually becoming a dispatch supervisor. From 2007 to 2023, they held various roles at the City of Santa Monica, including Public Safety Administrator, Assistant Administrator in the Office of Emergency Management, Administrative Supervisor in the Office of Emergency Management, Communications Supervisor in the Office of Emergency Management, Police Communications Operator and Training Officer, Fire Communications Center Supervisor, and Acting Communications Supervisor in the Santa Monica Police Department. Finally, starting in 2023, they took on the role of Director of Communications at REMSA Health.

Shannon Popovich, JD, CMCP completed their Juris Doctorate degree in Law from Abraham Lincoln University in 2023. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Columbia Southern University, which they completed in 2018. In 2020, Shannon successfully passed the First-Year Law Students' Exam administered by The State Bar of California.
