Chris Schaffter

Chris Schaffter has over 8 years of experience in IT management and leadership roles. Chris is currently working as an IT Manager at BorgWarner Inc. since 2015. Prior to that, they served as an IT Director, Commercial and Custom Applications at Remy International from 2012. At Remy International, they managed and led a team of custom developers and business analysts, worked on creating custom solutions for business process improvements and ERP applications. Chris was also responsible for planning and managing annual budgets, resources, and future technology strategies. Additionally, they developed Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and Return on Investment (ROI) analyses for global IT projects. In their previous role as Manager, IT Engineering and Custom Applications, they managed the Business Analysis Team and the Custom Software Development Team, and implemented and maintained global Engineering IT applications.

Chris Schaffter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University, which they attended from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they pursued an MBA in Business from Indiana Wesleyan University, completing the program from 1999 to 2001.
