David Dawson

David Dawson is the current Senior Vice President of Agency Growth at Renaissance Alliance. Prior to joining Renaissance Alliance, Dawson served as the Chief Operating Officer of D. F. Murphy Insurance from 2016 to 2017, and as a Principal Consultant at The Nolan Company from 2015 to 2016. From 2013 to 2015, Dawson was the Senior Vice President of Alteris Insurance Services, and from 2008 to 2012 they served as the Senior Vice President of Trident Insurance, both companies under Argo Group US.

Dawson has over fifteen years of experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on improving service, quality, productivity and profitability through strategy, operational expertise, process innovation and the effective use of technology. David is a skilled leader and manager, with a proven track record in developing cohesive management teams and improving cross-functional communication and collaboration.

David Dawson has a Bachelor of Science in Finance & Human Resource Management from Boston College Carroll School of Management. David also has a degree from Harvard Business School Executive Education.

David Dawson works with Tess Wartman - SVP, Agency Services Product Management, Oscar Miniet - Regional Executive President, and Michelle Carter - VP, Operating Services. David Dawson reports to Kevin Callahan, Chairman & CEO.
