Dmitry Razumov

Chairman of the Board of Directors at Renaissance Capital

Dmitry Razumov is the CEO of Onexim Group, a private investment fund with a diverse portfolio of assets ranging from commodities to utilities to financial services to sports and entertainment. He hails from Moscow, Russia and studied at the Moscow State Institute of Foreign Relations (MGIMO), where he received a degree in International Law.

Dmitry began his career as a corporate lawyer at Clifford Chance before shifting his focus to investment banking at Renaissance Capital. In 1998, he co-founded LV Finance, an independent venture capital firm, which stands behind the success of MegaFon, Russia's largest mobile phone operator.

From 2001, Dmitry served as Deputy CEO for Strategy and M&A at Norilsk Nickel, Russia's largest mining company, going global through groundbreaking deals to acquire assets of Stillwater Mining Company, Gold Fields and Polyus Gold. Dmitry took Norilsk Nickel to a new level, with the company achieving industry's best corporate governance standards among Russian blue-chip companies.

He has served on the boards of Rusal, the world's largest aluminum producer, and Uralkali, the world's leading potash producer and chaired the boards of OPIN development group, Intergeo mining, Renaissance Capital, and RBC.

Previously, he was also Chairman of the Board of Directors for both the Brooklyn Nets and Barclays Center. Currently, he is Chairman of the Board of Directors at Renaissance Credit, Soglassye Insurance, as well as Renaissance Capital.
