Joanne Ferrari

Ms. Ferrari is originally from Birkenhead, a town near Liverpool in the UK. However, she started her teaching career in state education in London, where she also was responsible for the teaching and learning of Mathematics. Since moving to Hong Kong, Ms. Ferrari has enjoyed the transition to inquiry-based learning, become a facilitator of writing workshops and recently begun a Masters degree. In her first degree, Ms. Ferrari studied Zoology, and this is still a passion of hers. She is most happy when appreciating animals in their place in the natural world. She also enjoys reading, hiking, cooking and spending time with her husband and dog.
