Francesco Ceccherini

Francesco Ceccherini is a seasoned expert in the field of plasma heating and fueling, currently serving as the Group Leader at Renaissance Fusion since August 2025. Prior to this role, Francesco held the position of Senior Scientist at TAE Technologies, Inc. from February 2006 to July 2025. Francesco's academic journey includes a Postdoctoral Researcher role at Università di Pisa from January 2002 to December 2012 and a PhD Researcher position at Technische Universität Darmstadt from November 1998 to December 2001. Francesco holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from Technische Universität Darmstadt and a Master of Science (MS) in Atomic/Molecular Physics from Università di Pisa.
