Anson Davis

Anson Davis has extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Anson has worked at Renaissance Learning since 2017 and currently holds the position of VP - Engineering. Prior to that, they worked as the Director - Engineering and Lead Architect at the same company.

Before joining Renaissance Learning, Anson worked at General Mills from 2008 to 2017. During their time there, they held the roles of Cloud Architect, Digital Workplace Architect, Enterprise Architect, and .NET Architect. Anson was responsible for leading the Cloud Governance team, setting cloud strategy, coordinating cloud architecture, and driving cultural change for cloud adoption. Anson also managed the automation of IT infrastructure and promoted Agile and DevOps principles.

Prior to General Mills, Anson worked at CS Stars (Marsh & McLennan) as a Senior Software Developer from 2005 to 2008. Anson also worked at IBM as a Technology Consultant from 2000 to 2005 and at IXL as a Knowledge Manager / Content Management Consultant from 1999 to 2000.

Anson Davis holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Anson also has a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance.
