Sherry Young

Sherry Young, FCAS, MAAA, currently serves as Vice President and Senior Actuary at RenaissanceRe, beginning in November 2023. Prior to this role, Sherry held the position of AVP and Actuary at Validus Reinsurance, Ltd. from November 2021 to October 2023 and was an Associate Director at Aon from November 2014 to October 2021, specializing in Specialty Commercial Lines Actuarial work. Sherry's career includes experience as an Actuarial Analyst at ISO, and various analytical positions at Barclays, Credit Suisse, and internships in electrical engineering at companies such as Con Edison and Arup. Sherry holds a Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Architecture from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art, completed in 2011.
