Eason Abbott

Eason Abbott has a diverse work experience in the medical and engineering field. Eason is currently the Co-Founder, President, and Board Member at Renata Medical since February 2019. In June 2020, they also joined MedTech Innovator as an Accelerator Company.

Previously, Eason worked at Edwards Lifesciences from July 2014 to February 2019. During their time there, they held roles such as R&D Engineer, where they worked on a transcatheter implant and delivery system, and TDP Engineer from July 2014 to December 2015.

Prior to Edwards Lifesciences, Eason was a Design Intern at the National Institutes of Health in May 2013, where they worked with healthcare professionals to improve patient care through design specifications. Eason also gained experience as a Product Testing Intern at TransEnterix, Inc. in May 2011.

Before entering the medical and engineering field, Eason founded and was the Lead Guitarist of Starfish Bungalow from 2006 to July 2011.

Eason Abbott pursued their education at Duke University, where they studied Biomedical Engineering. While the exact start and end dates are not provided, it can be inferred that they completed their academic pursuits at this institution.
