Fabiana Munhoz

Fabiana Munhoz has a diverse work experience history. Fabiana currently holds the position of Senior Project Manager at reNature since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as an Access to Market Manager at Conexsus - Instituto Conexões Sustentáveis from September 2021 to March 2023. Fabiana also served as a Project Portfolio Manager at Funbio - Fundo Brasileiro para a Biodiversidade from February 2021 to September 2021.

Before their roles in sustainability and project management, Munhoz worked at L'Oréal for several years. Fabiana held various positions, including Head of Advanced Research - Brazil from February 2017 to February 2021, Research & Innovation Raw Materials Manager from May 2015 to January 2017, and Research Manager from October 2011 to April 2015.

Munhoz's earlier work experience includes positions at Institut Fresnel, where they worked as a Postdoctoral researcher on multimodal nonlinear optical imaging from January 2011 to September 2011, and as a Researcher (PhD student) from October 2007 to December 2010. Fabiana also had a research trainee role at L'Oréal in Research and Development from April 2007 to September 2007.

Fabiana Munhoz completed their Bachelor's degree in Physics at the University of São Paulo from 2001 to 2006. Fabiana then pursued a French Engineer Degree in Physics at École Polytechnique from 2004 to 2006. Following that, Fabiana attended École normale supérieure de Lyon, where they obtained a Master of Sciences in Theoretical Physics from 2006 to 2007. Fabiana furthered their education at Aix-Marseille University, earning a PhD in Optics, Photonics, and Image Processing from 2007 to 2010. Fabiana then enrolled at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree specializing in Economy and Sustainable Management from 2017 to 2020. Most recently, from 2020 to 2021, they completed an online certificate program in Tropical Forest Landscapes at Yale School of the Environment.
