Laurette Cañizares

Laurette Cañizares has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Laurette started their career at Semana Newspaper as a Community Relations and Account Executive, where they developed business partnerships and expanded the customer base. Laurette then worked at Visit Houston as an Advertising & Marketing Manager, managing a large advertising plan and producing cultural events.

Laurette later became the Executive Director of the Houston Museum District, where they overhauled organizational systems and transformed the office into a full-service marketing agency. Laurette then worked as a consultant for multiple clients before joining Central Houston, Inc. (CHI) as a Public Art & Events Manager, managing a significant budget and overseeing numerous events and art installations.

Most recently, Laurette served as the Director of Accounts & Customer Success at renegade.bio, where they managed the customer success team, prioritized product implementations, and ensured client satisfaction. Laurette also served as an Account Manager for the same company and successfully onboarded and managed a portfolio of clients, resulting in significant upsells.

Throughout their career, Laurette demonstrated strong leadership, organizational skills, and a strategic approach to achieving business goals.

Laurette Cañizares attended Boston University from 1998 to 2002, pursuing a degree in Mass Communications.
