Craig Oates

Craig Oates is a seasoned professional in the field of test engineering with over 28 years of experience in the semiconductor industry. Currently serving as the Director of Test Engineering at Renesas Electronics since July 2020, Craig previously held the role of Senior Manager Test Engineering, leading an IC Test Engineering Team focused on Power Management IC testing solutions. Prior to Renesas, Craig worked at Intersil (now part of Renesas) from 2002 to July 2020 as a Principal Product/Test Engineer, specializing in ATE test solutions for power management products, and from 1992 to 2001 in various roles including Lead Product Engineer and Senior Process Engineer. Craig earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from The University of Toledo between 1990 and 1995.
