Marcel Stumpel

Marcel Stumpel is an experienced engineering and software professional with a comprehensive background in embedded systems and software architecture. Currently serving as Principal Software System Architect at Renesas Electronics since January 2018, Marcel has previously held positions as Senior Software Engineer at Rockwell Collins and B/E Aerospace, and as Software Engineer at Tokheim, where responsibilities included architecture and development for embedded Linux platforms. Marcel's leadership experience spans multiple roles, including Software Department Manager and Engineering Manager across various companies, overseeing teams and managing projects in electronics and embedded software development. Marcel holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Fontys University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor's degree in Electronics from MTS Electronics.
