Peter Pirc

Peter Pirc is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product marketing and technology, currently serving as Principal Product Marketing Specialist for UWB at Renesas Electronics since November 2023. Prior to this, Peter held significant roles at FiRa Consortium as Co-Chair of the Localization Task Group and Technical Working Group from September 2020 to October 2023, and at NXP Semiconductors, where responsibilities included Senior Marketing Manager for UWB Mobile & IoT Solutions and Senior Solution Manager for NFC Readers in IoT and Payment. Peter's career began at Infineon Technologies, contributing to the development of contactless communication systems and electronic travel document technologies. With a strong academic background in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering in Ljubljana, Peter combines technical expertise with strategic marketing acumen.
