Soichi Kobayashi

Soichi KOBAYASHI has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry, currently serving as Senior Manager of MCU Product Management at Renesas Electronics Corporation since 2011 and with the company since April 2003. In this role, KOBAYASHI leads a team focused on advanced microcontroller product launch planning, including the development of two new product series characterized by very low power and high performance. Prior to joining Renesas, KOBAYASHI worked at Mitsubishi Electric Corporation from April 1985 to March 2003, where contributions included designing 32-bit TRON microprocessors and collaborating on the development of the 64-bit Alpha microprocessor with Digital Equipment Corporation in the United States. KOBAYASHI holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Kwansei Gakuin University, completed in 1985.
