Walter Mayer is an accomplished leader in global distribution marketing, currently serving as the Head of Global Distribution Marketing at Renesas Electronics since June 2017. With a strong focus on empowering distributors and enhancing market presence, Walter has established strategic initiatives to promote Renesas Solutions across diverse markets. Previously, Walter held various key positions within the automotive sector, including Vice President of Automotive Sales Enablement and Vice President of Strategic Sales, where Walter drove significant growth in the APAC region. Walter's earlier experience includes sales and marketing management at Rubycon Corporation, along with consultancy roles and technical sales in electronics. Walter holds a degree in Electronics & Telecommunication and has completed Japanese language proficiency training.
