Cagdas Sirin, PhD

Cagdas Sirin, PhD has over 10 years of work experience. In 2009, they were a Consultant for Measured Progress, providing expert review for economics items. From 2010 to 2011, they were an Assistant Professor at Okan University. During this time, they were also the Managing Director of the Bahcesehir University Research Methods School (BAYO), where they organized about 30 workshops a year and trained over 950 faculty members, researchers, and graduate students. In 2011, they co-founded and became the CEO of Iksara Research Inc. From 2011 to 2015, they were an Assistant Professor in the Economics Department at Bahcesehir University. In 2015, they became the Senior Vice President of Insights and Category Development at Chobani. In 2018, they founded Mastiqe Gum, LLC. In 2019, they founded both Reneva LLC and Growth Navigator. In 2020, they became a Board Member for Kamion (YC S22).

Cagdas Sirin, PhD completed their high school diploma in Mathematics from Sincan Lisesi in 1992. Afterwards, they obtained a B.S in Statistics from Orta Doğu Teknik Üniversitesi / Middle East Technical University in 1998. In 2003, they received an MS in Economics from Suffolk University and went on to earn their PhD in Economics from the same university in 2010.
