Steven Abbott

Steven Abbott is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and genomics sectors. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer at Renew Biotechnologies since July 2024, Steven has previously held key leadership positions, including Vice President of Lab Operations at Flagship Biosciences, Inc., and various roles at Q² Solutions, where responsibilities included oversight of global Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) operations across multiple regions, managing personnel and budgets, and developing global vendor relationships. Steven also has a strong background in research, having contributed to the development of innovative sequencing methods and systems at several organizations, including Expression Analysis and Duke University. Steven holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Virginia Tech.
