Support Technician at Renew Digital

Gwen Brown, BS (Computer Science), has worked in the technology industry since 2000. Gwen began their career at AkzoNobel, where they served as a Techline Training Consultant, Techline Support Specialist Level II, and Mixit Support Specialist Level II. In their role as Techline Training Consultant, they served as one of two subject matter experts for on-boarding new Techline analysts, developing training tools and assessing skill development during transition of AkzoNobel’s Vehicle Refinishes Division to Troy, Michigan. Gwen also formalized a body of knowledge regarding setup and troubleshooting of Mixit software and hardware, color formula and product technical support, and CRM processes by creating and organizing extensive training and technical documentation. As a Techline Support Specialist Level II, they added paint product and color formula support to their duties, and as a Mixit Support Specialist Level II, they provided support to body shops, paint distributors, and field sales representatives for PCs and proprietary software, paint mixing hardware and peripherals used with the software. In 2015, they began working as a Support Technician at Renew Digital.

Gwen Brown holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science from the University of North Georgia. Additionally, they hold certifications from FEMA National Incident Management System (NIMS) in ICS-100 (Introduction to Incident Command System), ICS-200 (ICS for Single Resources and Initial Action Incidents), ICS-300 (Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents), ICS-400 (Advanced ICS), ICS-700 (National Incident Management System (NIMS): An Introduction) and ICS-800 (National Response Framework: An Introduction).
