Carter Kupchella

Project Engineer at Renew Energy Partners

Carter Kupchella has had a varied work experience. From 2013 to 2017, they were an Assistant Machinist at Syracuse University College of Engineering and Computer Science. From 2017 to 2018, they were a Construction Manager at Appalachia Service Project, where they supervised the completion of 50,000+ square feet of residential construction in a one year term. From 2018 to 2022, they held two Project Engineer roles, first at Ecosystem and then at RENEW Energy Partners. At Ecosystem, they managed the implementation of energy saving measures in a variety of institutional and commercial settings. At Sesame Solar, they designed and analyzed possible improvements to solar nanogrid systems, developed processes and procedures to scale up manufacturing of existing designs, and communicated effectively with engineering, manufacturing, sales, and management personnel to streamline product development.

Carter Kupchella obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Syracuse University in 2017. Carter also obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Rhode Island Department of Business Regulation (DBR) in November 2022.
