Christopher Mortweet is an Assistant General Counsel at Renew Home, where Christopher serves as a business enabling climate-tech lawyer advising on strategy, law, & policy. Christopher is also the Founder & President of DER Advising, LLC, providing consulting advice on climate-tech strategy, policy, and risk with a focus on distributed energy resources, virtual power plants, consumer IoT, and carbon removal. Christopher previously worked at Google as an Associate Product Counsel for Nest energy and as an Associate Commercial Counsel for Nest Energy & Climate and Devices & Services Distribution. With a background in law and a strong foundation in chemistry, philosophy, and biochemistry, Christopher brings a diverse skill set to their roles.
