Jamie Ravinath

Jamie Ravinath has a strong background in IT, with experience ranging from an Assistant Engineer at Sri Lanka Telecom Services in 2009 to their current role as an Operations Manager at Renew IT since November 2022.

Before joining Renew IT, Jamie worked as a Lead Technical Support Specialist at Renew IT from July to December 2022. Prior to that, they served as a Service Engineer at Verser Technology Lifecycles from 2016 to June 2022.

In 2013, Jamie joined SriLankan Catering Limited as a Senior IT Executive, where they played a key role in managing system and network issues, implementing and maintaining HR information systems, ensuring the availability of Microsoft infrastructure services, and expanding the network to accommodate business growth.

Jamie's earlier experience includes working as an IT Engineer at Ceylon Electricity Board from June 2012 to March 2013 and as a Network and System Engineer at the Ministry of Finance and Planning's Fiscal Management Efficiency Project from August 2011 to June 2012.

Jamie Ravinath earned a Bachelor's degree in Information & Communication Technology from the University of Colombo from the years 2006 to 2009. In addition to their degree, Jamie also obtained certifications in Cisco networking. They achieved the Cisco Certified Network Associate Routing and Switching (CCNA) certification through Cisco in 2008 and the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification in 2011. Additionally, Jamie acquired a certification in Professional Development for Qualified Professionals from Melbourne Polytechnic at an unspecified time.
