James Chen

James Chen has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. James currently holds the position of Principal Engineer at REC, a role they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, James worked as an R&D Manager at United Renewable Energy from October 2018 to October 2021. Before joining United Renewable Energy, they were a Manager at Neo Solar Power Corp. where they led a team of four members and was responsible for coordinating product development and technology schedules. James also played a significant role in implementing and commercializing the "Glory BiFi" bifacial double glass module. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Senior Engineer at DelSolar Co., Ltd., where they successfully implemented module BOM cost reduction projects and developed a half-cut cell module using internal reflection soldering technology to increase module power.

James Chen attended Chung Yuan Christian University from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained a bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering.
