Angela Radney

Project Engineer at Renewable Energy Systems

Angela Radney has a diverse work experience in the engineering field. Angela began their career as a Lab Assistant at American River College, where they maintained and repaired equipment and assisted professors in lab activities. Angela then worked as an IRT Technician at California State University-Sacramento, where they configured hardware, installed software packages, and repaired computer networks. Additionally, they trained new employees and created technical documentation. Angela later became a Student Teaching Assistant at the same university, where they played various roles such as group tutor, grader, and note taker. Angela also wrote a funding proposal during this time. Prior to their current role, Angela was a Junior Engineer Intern at Black & Veatch, where they supported senior engineers in the design and management of hydroelectric power generation projects for utility companies. Angela was involved in the preparation of electrical diagrams and documentation, as well as the retrofitting and replacement of equipment. Most recently, Angela has been working as a Project Engineer at Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc.

Angela Radney completed their Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a specialization in Power from California State University-Sacramento. Angela attended this institution from 2014 to 2016. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (AS) degree in Mathematics and Sciences from American River College, where they studied from 2011 to 2014. In addition to their academic qualifications, Angela also holds an OSHA 10 Hour Training certification.
