Brian Schnall

Brian Schnall has a diverse work experience in the legal field. Brian started their career as a Student Consultant at Washington University Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic in 2002. In 2005, they worked as a Law Clerk at Earthjustice. Brian then joined American Rivers as an Outreach Assistant from 2002 to 2004, where they researched and wrote action alerts, managed an online network, and organized a lobby day in Washington, D.C.

In 2006, Brian returned to Washington University Interdisciplinary Environmental Clinic as a Student Attorney, providing legal support for environmental issues. Brian also worked as a Summer Associate at Sullivan & Worcester LLP during that time.

Brian then joined Faegre Baker Daniels LLP in 2007 as an Associate, focusing on commercial contracts and mergers and acquisitions. In this role, they advised clients on various corporate matters and was responsible for drafting and negotiating transactional and corporate documents.

Since 2014, Brian has been working as a Senior Counsel at Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. Brian represents the company in the development, construction, and operation of renewable energy projects. Brian'sresponsibilities include drafting and negotiating complex contracts related to wind, solar, and energy storage projects.

Throughout their career, Brian has gained extensive experience in contract law, corporate governance, and environmental law.

Brian Schnall completed their Juris Doctor (JD) degree from Washington University School of Law between 2004 and 2007. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree, majoring in Environmental Studies and English Literature, from Washington University in St. Louis. This degree was earned during the period of 1998 to 2002.
