Charlie Norley

Charlie Norley has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. They began their career as an Overseas Co-ordinator at i-to-i Online TEFL, where they co-ordinated volunteers with local community projects and provided support to volunteers and project stakeholders.

Afterward, Charlie worked as an Operational Planner at Network Rail, managing short-term passenger and freight schedule amendments and handling conflicting customer requirements under strict deadlines.

They then transitioned to Gate Retail Onboard as a Training and Project Coordinator, responsible for coordinating new customer set-ups, providing training to airline crew and warehouse staff, and tracking post-implementation results for process improvement.

At Conergy UK Ltd, Charlie held the role of Commercial Executive, and later became a Commercial Manager at Conergy. In these roles, they dealt with recovering bank guarantees, negotiating operations and maintenance contracts, and advising on contractual and legal obligations.

Following that, Charlie joined Network Rail as a Business Improvement Specialist, focussed on improving performance in the Freight and National Passenger Operator team. They analyzed data and engaged stakeholders to drive performance improvement.

Most recently, Charlie has been working at Ethical Power Ltd. as an O&M Manager, overseeing operations and maintenance activities at the company.

Currently, they serve as a Senior Contract Performance Manager at RES, where they manage contract performance and ensure the successful execution of contracts.

Charlie Norley attended Oxford Brookes University from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a first-class honours degree in Business and Anthropology. Prior to that, they attended Waddesdon Secondary School from 1998 to 2004, where they obtained four A-Levels. In addition to their formal education, Charlie Norley also obtained several certifications. In February 2005, they received a TEFL certification from i-to-i Online TEFL. Later, in November 2012, they became PRINCE2 Practitioner Certified through BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Charlie'smost recent certification, Renewable energy power purchase agreements, was obtained from Infocus International in October 2022.
