Melissa Charlton

Melissa Charlton began their work experience in 2012 as a part-time Lab Assistant at the Department of Earth & Environmental Sciences. In 2012, they also worked as a member of the Venue Communications Team for the London Olympics at LOCOG. The following year, in 2014, they had a work placement at Statoil. From 2015 to 2017, Melissa worked as a Consultant at Strategic Analytics. In 2018, they joined RES as a Strategy Analyst and later became the Head of Sustainability. In May 2022, Melissa became the Head of Strategy & Sustainability at RES, where they are responsible for leading the company's strategy and sustainability efforts. Throughout their career at RES, Melissa has worked on projects such as Project Faraday, where they coordinated strategic reporting and advised senior leaders on business plans.
