Michael Guilford

Michael Guilford has extensive work experience in the field of IT procurement and supply chain management. Michael started their career at Balfour Beatty plc as a Junior Sourcing Analyst in June 2011. After a year, they transitioned to the role of Assistant Procurement Manager in June 2012. In October 2013, they became the Group IT Contracts Manager responsible for procurement and supply chain management. During their time at Balfour Beatty, they also held the position of Group IT Procurement Manager from June 2014 to July 2016.

In 2016, Michael joined RES (Renewable Energy Systems Ltd) as the Group IT Procurement Manager. Michael later took on the role of IT Commercial & Planning Manager in January 2019.

Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated their expertise in IT procurement, commercial management, and planning.

Michael Guilford has a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Geography, Environment & Society from the University of Exeter, which they obtained from 2008 to 2011. Michael also completed the ITIL Foundation certification from Pink Elephant in 2017. In addition, Michael pursued a Professional Diploma in Procurement & Supply from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) at London Metropolitan University, completing it in 2015. Michael participated in the Balfour Beatty Graduate Development Programme at Stuart Slatter Training from 2011 to 2013. Moreover, Michael acquired a BCS (formerly ISEB) Professional Certification in Software Asset Management Essentials from Pink Elephant starting in 2011. Lastly, they attended Table Force in 2016 for the course Negotiating for Success.
