Philip Thiemann

Philip Thiemann has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy and aerospace industries. Philip started their career as a Graduand/Project Lead at MPC Capital AG in 2004. Philip then worked as a Project Manager/Consultant at Airbus from 2004 to 2006. Philip Thiemann then transitioned into the renewable energy sector, working as an International Project Manager at Nordex from 2007 to 2008. Philip subsequently took on roles as a Senior Project Manager at Nordex Energy Ibérica S.A. and Senior Project Manager Wind Energy at Nordex from 2008 to 2013. In 2013, they joined badenova AG & Co. KG, where they served as a Managing Engineer Wind and later as the Head of Wind Department/Deputy Head of Renewable Power Generation. Philip Thiemann further expanded their expertise in the renewable energy field as a Senior Advisor Renewable Energy at the Institute of Energy (Vietnam) from 2017 to 2018. Philip is currently working as the Director of Support Services/Leiter Betrieb at RES.

Philip Thiemann attended the Hamburg University of Technology from 1998 to 2003, where they earned a degree in Wirtschaftsingenieur (Engineering and Business Administration). Additionally, in 2002, they participated in a studentship at the Universitat Politècnica de València (UPV), specifically in the Escuela Técnica Superior de Ingenieros Industriales.
