Rod Taylor

Rod Taylor has extensive work experience in various roles within the renewable energy and engineering fields. Their most recent position is as a Senior O&M Project Manager at RES, where they are currently employed. Prior to that, they worked as the Head of Operations and Maintenance at Ethical Power Ltd. from 2016 to 2020. Rod also served as the O&M Regional Manager (Southwest) and HV SAP at Lightsource bp from 2013 to 2016, overseeing a 400MW regional portfolio of utility large-scale ground-mounted PV plants. Before their time at Lightsource bp, they worked as an Installation Manager at Yokk Solar AB, leading the installation of over 100 renewable energy SSEGs. Rod began their career as an Engineering Apprentice at Rochdale Training Association Limited in 1997. Throughout their career, Rod has demonstrated strong technical and management skills, as well as a focus on safety and maintenance of electrical and electronic equipment.

Rod Taylor completed their education in a chronological manner. From 1999 to 2001, they attended Hopwood Hall College and obtained an HNC degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Prior to that, from 1997 to 1999, they also studied at Hopwood Hall College and received an ONC degree in the same field. Earlier, from 1991 to 1997, Rod attended Falinge Park High School.
