Stephen Wichern

Stephen Wichern has over 20 years of work experience in the legal and engineering sectors. Stephen is currently working as a Partner at Beltzer Bangert & Gunnell LLP since July 2019, where they support clients in their contracting, operations, and dispute resolution needs for commercial and infrastructure projects in Colorado and the Rocky Mountain Region. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Counsel for Renewable Energy Systems Americas Inc. from April 2012, representing the company in various aspects of development and construction for utility scale renewable energy projects. Stephen also worked as an Associate Attorney at Faegre Baker Daniels LLP from May 2005 to March 2012, specializing in construction law and litigation. Stephen started their career as a Structural Engineer at Turner Collie Braden Inc. in September 1999 and then worked at Jirsa Hedrick & Associates, Inc. as a Structural Engineer from August 1998 to September 1999. Stephen also gained experience as a Structural Engineer at Wedgcor Steel Building Systems from September 1997 to July 1998, where they developed an estimation program to enhance the design process of metal aircraft hangars.

Stephen Wichern obtained their Bachelor's degree in Applied Science (Civil Engineering) from Queen's University from 1993 to 1997. Stephen later pursued further education at the University of Denver - Sturm College of Law, where they earned a JD degree specializing in Law between 2003 and 2006.
