Noam Yaffe

Noam is a father and climate fintech entrepreneur. His professional background in renewable energy includes experience sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating ~800 MW-AC (~$800M) of renewable energy agreements. He has transacted with multiple Fortune 500s and utilities, including Anheuser Busch, Energy Transfer, Austin Energy, and two of the top energy firms in the country (both F500s under confidentiality). He founded RenewaFi (www.RenewaFi.com), a VC-backed renewable energy marketplace, acquired its first 50 market participants, and currently manages client relationships with multiple Fortune 500 clients. While working at Recurrent Energy, a top 10 renewable energy developer, Noam managed power purchase agreement (PPA) negotiations and investment committee approvals; provided PPA evaluation and market advisory on selected M&A transactions; managed pricing and financial modeling prior to creating and submitting PPA proposals; and was ranked 'top PPA originator' as well as a 'top 5% performer' at the firm. He brings over 8 years of finance and renewable energy industry experience, including two years as a technology M&A investment banker. Noam is well connected in the renewables industry with over 150 renewable energy PPA negotiator relationships at developers, trading firms, and investment banks. Beyond energy hedging and investment banking, Noam has also raised significant private investment capital for his own company. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tufts University.
