Wes Andrews

Wes Andrews is an experienced professional in the energy sector and environmental communications, currently serving as the Manager of Development for the Eastern Region at Renewco Power since October 2024. As a Founding Pen & Lead Cartoonist for Climatoonist, Wes creates cartoons focused on the energy transition, showcasing a unique blend of creativity and industry insight since July 2022. Previous roles include Development Manager, Project Developer, and Project Development Assistant at Torch Clean Energy from January 2020 to October 2024, and various positions related to technology communications and disaster preparedness at MicroStrategy and Teracore, Inc. respectively. Wes also contributed to The Marshall Expedition under a National Geographic Young Explorers Grant and interned at Dewberry and St. Elias Alpine Guides. A graduate of the University of Virginia with a BA in Environmental Science, Wes's career reflects a strong commitment to both environmental issues and effective communication.
