Melissa Robinson-Brown

Melissa Robinson-Brown, PhD has a diverse and extensive work experience. Melissa is the Founder of Renewed Focus Psychology Services, PLLC since April 2014. Additionally, they have held the role of Adjunct Instructor at NYU Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development since April 2018. Melissa has also worked at Mount Sinai Health System as an Assistant Clinical Professor in Adolescent Medicine & Psychiatry since March 2017. Prior to that, they were the Co-Director of Psychology Training Program at Mount Sinai Hospital Adolescent Health Center from July 2014 to March 2017. Melissa also served as an Assistant Professor in Adolescent Medicine & Psychiatry and a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Mount Sinai Medical Center from July 2011 to March 2017. Before that, Melissa worked as an Online Adjunct Faculty at University of the Rockies from April 2009 to June 2015. Melissa was an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Psychology at John Jay College from January 2011 to December 2012. Melissa's work experience also includes being a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at New York Presbyterian Hospital from November 2008 to May 2011, and a Psychology Intern at NYU-Bellevue from 2007 to 2008.

Melissa Robinson-Brown, PhD obtained their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology & Women's Studies from Washington University in St. Louis between 1998 and 2002. Following this, they pursued their Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University Chicago from 2002 to 2008.
