George Slade

George Slade has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on strategy and management. George is currently the IT Director at Renewi Nederland, a waste management company. George has also held interim positions at Shanks Waste Management and IMI.

At IMI, George was responsible for building the company's 5 year IT strategy. George worked closely with the board and executive to examine the platforms business strategies, review the existing IT landscape and skills, and develop a plan that would optimize none core business IT services for the collective good of the group. The strategy they developed increased revenue through the use of technology in groups product and service offerings, and upskilled IT resourcing across the globe to support new business opportunities.

George has a proven track record in developing and implementing successful IT strategies. George is an expert in stakeholder engagement and has a keen understanding of how to leverage technology to achieve business goals.
