Ian Jennings

Ian Jennings is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product safety and compliance. Currently serving as the Group Product Safety Manager at Renishaw since May 2019, Ian oversees the central Product Safety Team, Component Engineering Team, and Test Labs, offering expertise in areas such as REACH, RoHS, and low power radio. Previously, Ian held the role of Director of Policy for Corporate Product Compliance at Polycom, where responsibilities included analyzing regulatory changes and guiding various teams to ensure compliance with safety, EMC, energy efficiency, and medical device regulations. Ian also served as the International Compliance Manager at Polycom and worked as a Managing Consultant at InterConnect Communications Ltd, leading compliance efforts for new technologies. Ian Jennings holds an MSc in Microelectronics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Electronics and Computer Technology from Middlesex University, as well as a BSc in Chemistry from the University of South Wales.
