Martin Curtis

Martin Curtis has extensive experience in regulatory compliance and engineering, currently serving as the Regulatory Compliance Manager for the Optical Encoder Division at Renishaw since January 2013. Martin's responsibilities encompass the management of regulatory compliance for products and equipment, focusing on standards such as CE, RoHS, and Machinery Safety. Previous roles include Senior Compliance Engineer at Renishaw and Technical Project Manager at Saint Gobain Performance Plastics Rencol Ltd, where leadership and project management skills were effectively demonstrated. Martin has also contributed to the GLASTONBURY FESTIVAL as a recycling tractor driver and held various engineering positions at Nissan Technical Centre - Europe. Martin holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Bedfordshire and additional qualifications in automotive and agricultural engineering.
