Paul Govan has extensive experience in engineering and customer training, currently serving as the Customer Training Manager at Renishaw since February 1998. In this role, Paul manages the Renishaw Innovation Centre, overseeing its front-of-house demonstration area, which was inaugurated by HRH the Princess Royal in July 2015. Previous roles at Renishaw include Senior Sales & Support Engineer and Sales & Support Engineer, focusing on training customers in calibration products and providing technical support. Paul also has a background in design as both a Senior Design Draughtsman and Design Draughtsman. Prior to Renishaw, Paul worked in various engineering roles, including HVAC system design and vehicle assembly for airport operations. Paul holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Gloscat, obtained between 1997 and 2001, and began an apprenticeship at Babcock & Wilcox in 1979.
